Out West

 I was born and partly raised in Colorado, but my roots are midwestern. My parents moved back and forth between Colorado and Minnesota in my earliest years in search of work. My Dad was a mechanic, and my mom raised my brother and me. Growing up, I got the benefits of the West and the Midwest, from horseback riding in the foothills of the Rocky Mountains and fishing in the Whitefish chain in Minnesota’s lake country. 

In the first grade we got a chance to draw out what we wanted to be when we grew up... Doctor... Nah. Banker... No... Industrialist... Nope.
